A QR code for a link is the simplest kind there is: people point their phone camera at it and your page opens. It works for a website, an online shop, a social profile or a Google Maps place.
What you need
Just the full address of the page, starting with https://. Open the page on your phone, copy the address from the browser bar and check that it opens correctly before you make the code.
Make the code
- Open the free link QR code tool on QR Hub.
- Paste your address into the field.
- Pick colours and a frame with a short call to action, such as "Scan me".
- Download it as PNG for screens and messages, or SVG for print.
Test it before you print
Scan the code with two or three different phones, in normal light, from the distance people will really stand. Keep strong contrast — a dark code on a light background — and leave a quiet margin around it.
Static or editable?
A free static code holds the address itself, so it never expires, but you can't change it after printing. If the address might change later — a seasonal offer, a menu, an event — make a dynamic code instead: it points to a short link you can edit any time, and it shows how many people scanned it.
